Selection Board

The aim of this weekend is to assess your suitability for military service. It also allows potential recruits to get a taste of life in the TA to help you decide if the TA is for you.

Included in this weekend will be command tasks, physical tests and briefings. On completion of the weekend, and if you still want to join, you will be formally admitted into the TA. This is called "Attestation".

The weekend usually starts with signing in at Handel Street on the Friday night, followed by activities on the Saturday, and some final activities, selection, and attestation on the Sunday.
