Age Although the TA Recruiting Policy is to recruit personnel up until the age of 32, this may not be appropriate to an organisation like ULOTC. Firstly, it is an Officers Training establishment therefore candidates should be eligible to enter Sandhurst upon completion of their degree. Furthermore, the suitability of candidates over the age of 25 may be questionable. All candidates over the age of 25 should be referred to the Commanding Officer; at whos discretion the candidate may be allowed to continue with the Selection Process. Examples of when this may be applicable include candidates for PQO Commissioning Courses and older candidates seeking TA Commissioning.
