3 Platoon OC, JUO A Hollyoak - 3juo@ulotc.co.uk


JUO Hollyoak is an accomplished member of the ULOTC. With Level 1 Light Gun and OP operator qualifications he has assumed both these roles on separate King George VI competitions. In early 2007 he took part in Exercise Spartan Hike, the Army’s Nordic Skiing championship. In addition to his MTQ1 and 2 training he spent 6 weeks attached to the 1st Battalion Scots Guards during live fire training in Canada in 2007. Following his degree JUO Hollyoak intends to join the regular army.

 

 



3 Platoon Sergeant, OCdt J Arthur - 3platoonsergeant@ulotc.co.uk


As a member of the ULOTC for over 2 years OCdt Arthur has achieved a great deal. In 2006 he took part in the ULOTC’s diving expedition to the Red Sea logging many dive hours helping him to work toward an instructor qualification. In early 2007 he took part in the ULOTC’s annual alpine ski trip to Austria and during the summer was attached to the Scots Guards for Exercise Medicine Man 3 in Canada. More recently he captained the unit’s Hockey tour to Cyprus. OCdt Arthur intends to join the regular army.

 

 



3 Platoon 1 Section Commander, WOCdt C Brusa - 3.1sc@ulotc.co.uk


In addition to her MTQ1 and 2 training WOCdt Brusa has competed for the Army and the TA at surf kayaking and triathlon. She also took part in Exercise Spartan Hike, the Army’s Nordic Ski championships, helping the ULOTC win ‘First Female OTC team’. More recently WOCdt Brusa completed a month long exchange in the USA with the ROTC. Having passed AOSB during her time in the regiment she is now an Army Bursar and will join the regular army upon completion of her degree.

 

 



3 Platoon 2 Section Commander, OCdt A Przredrzymirski -

OCdt Przredrzymirski has been a member of the ULOTC for over 2 years. During his time in the unit he has completed MTQ1 and 2 training and has excelled in a number of inter-unit competitions. He achieved fastest male member of the ULOTC’s Nordic Ski team on Exercise Spartan Hike in early 2007. As a member of the ULOTC’s shooting team he won ‘Best Young Soldier in 4th Division’ award at the TA Skill at Arms Meeting in 2007. An accomplished athlete he has won a number of awards and is the current TA Cross Country Champion. In addition to all the competition OCdt Przredrzymirski went to Austria with the ULOTC for Exercise Cockney Snowfall, the unit’s annually held ski trip. Following completion of his degree, OCdt Przredrzymirski intends to join the regular army.

 

 



3 Platoon 3 Section Commander, WOCdt R Pearson -
3.3sc@ulotc.co.uk


WOCdt Pearson transferred to the ULOTC from the Royal Artillery having decided the OTC would be more compatible with her studies. As a member of this unit she has taken part in static line jumps courses at Netheravon, completed a weeklong equestrian course at the Royal School of Artillery: Larkhill, and recently seized the opportunity to spend a week in Lillehammer, Norway, learning the art of Skeleton Bob.
